A Gynecologist deals with the health of the female reproductive system viz. the uterus, the fallopian tubes, the ovaries etc. They do not deal with pregnancy and childbirth. An Obstetrician deals with pregnancy and childbirth and post natal care of both the mother and the child.
Both Rheumatologist and Orthopaedist deal with the diseases of the musculoskeletal system. A rheumatologist deals with the medicinal treatment of the conditions while an orthopadist deals with surgical treatment of the diseases. Thus, conditions like osteoarthritis, gout, rheumatoid arthritis are dealt by rheumatologist and bone injuries, joint replacement etc. are dealt by the orthopaedist.
